WE VALUE

WE VALUE

Augustine-Emuwa

Augustine *Augie* Emuwa

Principal

This will be our legacy as a school, a community, and a family!

I believe that our learning community must reflect our values as a family. As we come together to build on our ideas, perspectives, and expertise, we improve our chances of providing students with the opportunities they need to interact academically with the world around them. Students must see themselves and their community as assets and have culturally relevant curricula that feed their inherent desire to learn.

Our community grows and improves because of a shared vision for academic achievement for our students.

Melinda Jean-Baptiste

Assistant Principal

Children are born to dream and their educational experiences should foster this truth. They have the right to access experiences that will help shape them into individuals who pursue their dreams and live to improve the world around them. By using our gardens and green spaces as a tool for teaching, Gale CommUnity Academy will be a place where dreams are grown and cultivated, impacting not only our students but our staff, community, and world around us!

WE GROW KIDS

At Gale Our Mission is Simple
WE GROW KIDS

We grow them to learn, lead, and love themselves and the environments around them! Our journey started TOGETHER last year, through a shared focus on curriculum, social emotional learning, and community engagement. Every year we get better at cultivating the seeds we plant, nurturing them to full bloom. We aspire to be a level one school where all of our students' hit their growth targets and are at or above grade level.  We desire to possess the best urban agricultural based learning program across the country. We also strive to promote our students’ voice through our advanced fine arts program.

This year, we hope to expand on our success by making sure that more students have additional support, but we can’t accomplish the work alone. Join our legacy to help cultivate the soil that WE call home!
